We’re super excited to introduce a new fall scent here at the farm! Cracked Pepper is a lovely blend of sweet and spicy Madagascar black pepper oil blended with patchouli and bright hints of lemon. The resulting scent reminds us of a fall campfire and we’ve instilled the scent into our hand-poured candles and handcrafted soaps.
It’s been super fun for Jeff and I, along with my mom, Mary Alice to master the art of pouring candles and soaps. Making days are the best, tucked into the studio in the barn with a fire going and great scents in the air! We’ve sorted through some of the old favorites on the farm (don’t worry, we’re still making Sauna Nights, Northern Comfort and Lavender Forest!) and adding a few new scents to the line-up and Cracked Pepper is our first debut. And a favorite!
The Cracked Pepper candles are a creamy white with hours and hours of burn time. We pour into half-pint mason jars and top off with funky zinc lids with a punched out flower design. Our Cracked Pepper soaps are blended from pure essential oils, olive, coconut and palm oils and exfoliating poppy seeds.
This really is one of my personal favorite scents! Then candle smells a lot like campfire on a perfectly crisp fall night. The soap is dreamy and smooth and I love the little poppy seeds giving just a bit of texture to the soap.
We’ve got the soaps in candles in the barn for sale right now (open Thursday – Monday, 11 to 4). We also have available online with an easy flat shipping fee!
